I joined Peoples Church in January of 2013. Since then, I’ve had a chance to participate in the life of the church as a member (past or present) of the Worship Arts team, Shared Ministry team, Greeters, Sacred Conversations team, Choir, and Board of Trustees.

My involvement helped me realize that the main qualifications to be a “church leader” are a desire to give back to one’s spiritual home, an openness to finding opportunities that energize you, and a willingness to be less than perfect as you figure things out.

Our community needs beacons of light during these incredibly trying times. Peoples is one of those beacons already: a courageous, welcoming, liberal spiritual presence committed to social justice. I like to think I can help Peoples Church step even more fully into that role as your Board President.
