The First Hour on Sunday, November 15 will be a Board Budget Brunch. This is your chance to get an early look at the church budget proposed for calendar year 2027.
You'll see that the Finance Council did their usual great job of considering a multitude of factors. They made sure our staff's compensation packages reflect how much we value the work they do for Peoples; incorporated items from the various "wish lists" shared by leaders of Peoples Church teams; and effectively managed stewardship pledges, unexpected financial gifts, and endowment income. This is why your Board is confident in recommending this budget be approved at our December 6th congregational meeting.
That's the "budget" part of the brunch. As for the really important part, i.e., the food: If you had fun choosing a "B" food to Bridget's Bye-Bye Brunch and would like to do that again, go for it. If you prefer bringing some type of money-green food, we'll be delighted to nosh on that, too.
