Welcome Kaytee!

Please join the hiring team in welcoming our new Congregational Administrator, Kaytee Rairdin.

Kaytee Rairdin (she/hers) comes to Peoples Church with over six years working in the nonprofit world – including over two years as the Communications Coordinator at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Iowa City located in Coralville. Kaytee has carved out a corner in the creative world by matching her passion for nonprofits and community organizations with her affinity for design, marketing, and social media.

Kaytee identifies as a creative enthusiast and undercover New Englander. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she has been in the Midwest since the early 2000s. She and her husband John live with three cats on the Southeast side of Cedar Rapids. 

Some of her favorite hobbies are Star Wars, Star Trek, making her own jewelry, painting pottery, and chorale singing.  Kaytee maintains that “we must be rooted in commitment to each other, to serve with humility, and to approach each day with hope and curiosity.”
