Are You Interested in Helping Out at First Hour?

As we expand our First Hour offerings, we are finding the need of helping hands to make greater things possible. If you are able to and interested in offering extra time and energy on Sunday mornings, please consider signing up to be a First Hour Helping Hand.

What is expected of Helping Hands?

Helping Hands will be expected to help set up and assist in running First Hour activities with Hayden or those who are leading the First Hour activities (should Hayden be off that day). This can include managing snacks and moving tables and chairs as activities require.

Is this mandatory?

Not at all! If you can help we appreciate it immensely, however we respect your time and comfort with how you allocate that time.

How do I sign up?

Following the Helping Hands Sign Up link will bring you to a google sheets document. Each row is a Sunday, and there are two spaces in each row where a Helping Hand may add their name (Columns C and D), which will be orange if they are blank. If there is a Sunday you would like to sign up, just type in your name in that space (either Column C or D). You will only be able to type in Column C and D. Need help signing up? Email Hayden at faithformation@pcuu.org.

What if I signed up, but can’t help anymore?

If something has come up and you can’t make it for a Sunday in the future, simply delete your name on the date you cannot help. The Faith Formation email will get an update at the end of the day of the change. If you can no longer be a Helping Hand for the upcoming Sunday’s First Hour, please email faithformation@pcuu.org as soon as you are aware of a change.
