Egg Hunt for Giving

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt will include a fun twist that helps our children practice generosity. In the weeks leading up to Easter, we’ll collect donations for an Easter Generosity Fund supporting three local nonprofits:

• Cedar Valley Humane Society

• Families Helping Families

• Linn Community Food Bank

During the hunt, the eggs will be empty. But after gathering them, the children will place their eggs into baskets representing the organization(s) they want to support. The donations will then be divided based on how many eggs each basket receives. In other words, the kids will help decide where the money goes.

All participants will receive a goodie bag, and the event is open to the public, so invite friends and neighbors. If you’d like to take part, consider making a donation to the Easter Generosity Fund and come celebrate generosity in action.
