Reflecting on Co-Creating Together

On April 24, five people gathered at Peoples for the first Co-Creating session, an informal afternoon of personal projects and shared conversation. Rev. Carin made matching cards and envelopes from a single art find. Others brought fiber arts projects. Talk moved from a new portable weaving tool to repurposed pillowcases to childhood memories. No agenda, no pressure. Just people making things together.

Thirteen people came to the May 29 Co-Creating session, more than double our first gathering. Members and non-members worked side by side on projects ranging from painting and fiber arts to Lego builds, climbing wall design, game writing, and repair work right here at the church. Some attendees weren't sure what to expect and left glad they came. Others said Co-Creating is the only way they've been able to make progress on a project. Conversations spilled over into board games, books, and new connections.

Our next session is June 26. Co-Creating is open to everyone.
