Led by Bridget Laflin and Danny Booth — There is a sacred kind of curiosity that lives in moments of transition. Join us as we honor our bridging youth through a ritual of shared gifts, where representatives of the Social Change Now roles offer wisdom, strength, and possibility. Together, we celebrate the unfolding journey into young adulthood. Special music by Josh Benion-Wagner and Shelbi Benion-Wagner.

“What If…” at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Led by Kathleen Mavity, PCUU Member — If you hear someone start a sentence with “What if?,” chances are pretty good they’ll follow it with some kind of scary horror story. Such catastrophizing is a habit that’s easy to fall into these days, but it’s one you can choose to break. Come explore the power of using “What if?” in a new and powerful way – one that enables you to envision nourishing possibilities, grow spiritually, and embody the positivity and agency for good that our country desperately needs right now. Special music by Bryan Davis.

“The Power of Flowers” at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Led by Rev. Carin Bringelson — The annual Flower Ceremony has a powerful history. For more than a century this UU ritual has celebrated beauty, diversity, and community. To today’s service, please bring a cut flower to give away to a fellow congregant if you can – and if you can’t, don’t worry: there will be enough to go around.
Following the service, the Board will convene PCUU’s annual congregational meeting to officially change the bylaws and elect lay leaders. The Annual Meeting will take place both in the sanctuary and on Zoom. All book-signed members in good standing are eligible to vote. Special music by Rishi Wagle

“Curious About Veterans’ Memories?” at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Led by Jim Scott, UU musician — The idea of Mother Earth or “Gaia” being a living organism with the same physical attributes as humans connects us with our life support system. Paying attention to our “spiritual response” is so needed now, as “the spirit of life on earth is in crisis.” Jim Scott has long been an activist for peace and the Earth with his music. Some of his songs are in our UU hymn books.
