Protect Our Immigrant Neighbors: ICE Check-ins August 4 and 5
August is expected to be a busy month at the Cedar Rapids ICE office as large sums of taxpayer money are received by ICE. Escucha Mi Voz asks us to join them to protect families, document detentions, and shine a light on immigration enforcement in Iowa.
Support 13 immigrant families to high risk ICE check-ins on Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5 beginning at 7:30 am. Bring your signs of support and love and stand with immigrant families in Iowa.

These questions and more will be discussed at our First Hour on Sunday, August 9 at 9:45 am in the Ely Room. Planning for 2027 social justice action will begin soon. We invite all members of all ages to attend this brainstorming session with us on August 9.
