Let’s Flourish Together in June

June is full of opportunities to Flourish Together. On June 1, we will begin the month of Pride and on June 19, we will celebrate Juneteenth: the liberation of enslaved people across the United States.

Be a part of the celebration! Peoples Church will be participating in the Juneteenth Festival at The African American Museum of Iowa, and will be marching in the parade and hosting a booth at CR Pride. Here are the details:

  • Juneteenth Festival on Saturday, June 20, 2026

  • CR Pride on Saturday, June 27, 2026

    • Festival Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    • Parade begins at 11:00 a.m.
