Third Quarter 2026: Lavender Legal

Lavender Legal Center is one of the four organizations that Peoples Church members voted to donate to for the Second Sunday Plate Collections in 2026. Lavender Legal will be the recipient during the third quarter, from July through September 2026.

As LGBTQ+ people continue to experience disproportionate rates of poverty and violence, Lavender Legal focuses on compassionate legal representation. They strive to provide a safe space for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community to access legal representation and related advocacy. 

Lavender Legal may provide legal representation and related advocacy by and for LGBTQ+  people on a sliding scale fee basis. Lavender Legal can help people with legal matters such as name changes on personal documents; adoptions and guardianships; last wills and testaments; advance directives; and health care documents.
