Did You Hear? September’s Theme is Interdependence
Let’s celebrate our Interdependence for our first official theme of the 2026 - 2027 congregational year!
Throughout September, our whole congregation will be exploring the theme of Interdependence across all ages and spaces! Whether you’re in a Religious Education class, a committee meeting, worship, small group, or a justice action, we want to capture how we are learning and growing together.
Our monthly themes come from the new curricular series called Woven Faith developed by the UUA. You can register for FREE this year and gain access to the monthly resources and materials for our congregational year. Go to www.uua.org/lifespan/curricula/woven-faith/living-values to learn more about the series and register!
How is Woven Faith supporting our ministry this congregational year?
Provided in a monthly theme-based ministry format, the resources provide a wide array of ways we can engage around the theme, including worship, classroom lessons for children, small group ministry for youth through older adults, all ages fellowship activities, as well as activities for boards and committees, inclusion and belonging ministries, and justice ministries.
This year, the themes center around the UU shared values, as follows:
September: Interdependence
October: Living the Questions
November: Covenant
December: Pluralism
January: Courageous Love
February: Equity
March: Transformation
April: Generosity
May: Expressing Our Faith
June: Justice
