Hymn of the Month
The November 2026 Hymn of the Month is “As We Carry This Flame Forward” by William Moore. https://www.singoutlove.org/hymn-library/as-we-carry-this-flame-forward-c7dae.
These lyrics of “As We Carry This Flame Forward" are set to HOLY MANNA, a tune used for many texts in the lyricist’s Disciples of Christ tradition but only one in Singing the Living Tradition. The lyricist is Rev. Wesley King who served as the Director of Music Ministries for the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville, TN.
