Help! “From You I Receive”
Given the ongoing government shutdown, the pending insurance increases, and the unknowns of this political moment, we may find ourselves at a loss for words, money, and support.
In times like these, it’s important to remember that Peoples Church is a community of mutual aid. We give to each other when we can, and we receive from one another when we need. Below are some options.
If you can GIVE right now:
Bring non-perishable items to the PCUU food pantry
Sign up to help with the Care Team at this webpage: https://peoplesuu.org/connections/groups/peoples-church-uu-care-team/
Contribute to the Minister’s Discretionary Fund by contacting Rev. Carin (minister@peoplesuu.org)
If you need to RECEIVE right now:
Help yourself to the items found in the food pantry – right inside the building near the Gordon Avenue entrance
Email the Care Team to ask for assistance at: pcuu.careteam@gmail.com
Contact Rev. Carin if you’re a member who is struggling to make financial ends meet
