You may recall that we indicated earlier this year that we would be removing the pear tree south of the PCUU building to allow the oak tree to flourish. That removal had been planned for November 9 to allow a killing frost to end the life of the flowers in the surrounding flower bed.
Apparently, global warming (and/or some other factor) is delaying the arrival of that first hard frost. To allow us all to enjoy the flowers as long as possible, we are delaying the pear tree removal until after cold weather arrives, date not yet determined.
Thanks for you patience!
