October Faith Formation Preview!

Elementary Class Sessions, Cultivating Compassion:

We will have lots of activity options each week! Some are listed below.

• October 5 - “Compassion’s Call to Tiny Actions That Mean So Much” Possible activities include:

  • Creating an Interactive Compassion Bulletin Board

  • Playing a Harvest in Motion Game

  • Doing a Salt Painting

• October 12 - “Social Change Now” All Ages Forum in the Ely Room. We will learn about the roles of Visionaries and Frontline Responders.

• October 19 - “Compassion’s Call to Move Outside Our Comfort Zone” Possible activities include:

  • Learning about our UU ancestor, Clara Barton

  • Making Car First Aid Kits

  • Play a First Aid Relay Game

  • Make a Kindness Catcher

• October 26 - Halloween Party and Costume Contest!!!!

Youth Group Class Sessions:

• October 5 - Make treats to sell at Game Night on Friday, October 10 from 6-8PM

• October 12 - “Social Change Now” All Ages Forum in the Ely Room. We will learn about the roles of Visionaries and Frontline Responders.

• October 19- Decorate and get ready for the Halloween Party!

• October 26 - Host Halloween Party for the elementary students.
